This is so true we are all the same this has been one of the biggest changes in our human history technology makes life easier but it also is making us backwards I tell the kids to take a break but like you and me we can at least see it,
Now you have apps that you can follow anyone anywhere in the world we can watch our house kids car all from our phone it's pretty crazy to think that we have come this far I'm 100 years I wonder what's going to be in the next 100!

I really love the flow of this poem, not because of the rhyme specifically, but because it also rings TRUTH. Many people don't like hearing the truth, but I, myself cannot deny it. I, too, spend a fair amount of time staring at my phone, playing games and talking with family through Facebook. It just seems like the norm these days, and sometimes I wish we weren't becoming so dependent on technology. One thing that does surprise me, is the fact we still don't have "floating cars"...

Nice poem! The first poem I published here explored this same topic. I believe social media can be helpful, but it has to be used carefully and not take priority over living a full life. I feel you did a great job reminding us of this.
Social media platforms can have impacts negative and positive. In case they aren’t used properly the impact will be obviously negative. In fact, Instagram was created to share pics and stories, then it turned into a business generator. People started to see Instagram as a full-time job that includes posting new content daily. This is a negative impact because posting daily pics is rather a hobby than a real job. People became so crazy about followers and likes that they are ready to search how to buy Instagram likes , video views and to raise the figures. The positive impact is that social media is a great source of information. You don’t have to wait for the news on TV, then all the information is provided straight.
