Rat Race

If time is gonna go by so fast why is it spent working all the time? We grind our fingers to the bone day in and day out until we are dead or too old to enjoy not working a job or disabled. Why can't we be simpler creatures? Grow a garden, spend time with family, walk instead of drive, go on week long camping, hiking, and paddling trips. Fellowship with neighbors around you, help each other( where one friend fails another succeeds). Im almost 30 years old and im tired of this day in day out rat race so i know people older than me have it worse.

I am blessed by my job and it feeds, clothes, and shelters me my wife and kids and i have a strong work ethic... Just the way life flies by and we waste out by working to make ends meet and not enjoying life and the things God has given us
