Playing guessing games doesn't signify a bond of trust ! I'm glad you see the light, now that a flashlight is unveiling where it all went wrong.
You can't ever build a stable foundation on a rubble of lies.
Eventually, it all collapses like a house of cards but I'm sure you'll play your cards right next time around as there's plenty of hands at the table just waiting to play poker, no doubt.
