The vampire archetype
The vampire archetype in empaths
Have you ever caught yourself, not healing but draining everything around you, especially if you're not feeling well?
As a part of the collective unconsciousness, this archetype is inflated or effected by the person's experiences and it is important to acknowledge how much power of control you allow it to have on your actions and thoughts, since it has a great impact on relationships and well being in general.
Being strongly guided by this, can lead to illusionary bonds of psychic(mental) attachments and vital dependency on others, as well as addictions, chronic fatigue, emotional holds and more.
Discovering your dominant archetypes may martyr a dysfunction of the ego field. The vampire one acts as an instinct of survival, reminding us our dark animalism, balance, autonomy or luck of the ability to energize oneself and it contributes to an equal flow of energies between all individuals, just like the healing of an empath but reversed.
So we may say this is the shadow of the empath, or his "negative" pole.
Just like when we change moods and states..
happiness to sadness... confidence to insecurity.. weakness to strength...We can be the healer or the 'patient'.
And we can choose too, by confronting this dark side of ours and weaken it with self understanding and inner work.
Vampire complexes may exist due to insecurities and false beliefs we adopted as children. For example, my mother's words and behavior imprinted on me the opinion that a woman is weak if she doesn't hold on by a men! And she really believed it from her mother and pass it on as a normal thing to do. I struggle to break that circle now, as I am writing here, for myself to understand too.
From what I see, the chaotic feeling of multiple fears drags me back in the carpathian abyss but the need to discover the truth of all, or better, the closest to my truth, raises me
# This is an assignment, suggested by a person I love very and received lessons from, of light, darkness and everything in between.
