Driving down some old back road, with intentions, no one should know.
Two souls fall in love, and their love starts to grow.
Like rain on the on hood of that old ford truck, this love was anything but luck.
Bending the rules, and running with the night, wishing time could have slowed.
Watching your heart walk away, a pain no one should know.
Years apart couldn't do this love in, maybe just another chapter.
Souls such as ours, deserve a happily ever after.
Yet chapter and chapter may unfold, still with in our lives.
