Why rely on God?!

where else
am I to go
I'm roamin in the sky
and i'm not sure where knowledge goes
if there's an apple tree near by
take me there
and i will stare at
angels flyin high
flyin high
higher where the roots will grow
higher maybe god will know

if you're there
well i'm knockin on your door

now can't you hear the bell ring
there is no one here
so guess what
the geese are singin
as we fly
as we're flyin on by

blanklets are grainy
and the food is dry
now the homeless are dreamin
for a place to lie
and praying god for help to reign
prayin for some hope today
