Boom, boom, boom, boom, Bang, bang, bang, bang,
channel 4, fox news, cnn, the same thing.
The only difference i can see is that the blame seems to change,
from the victim to the shooter, both restrained, bound by chains.
Because his pigment is too dark, judged by sight he is a mark,
they're all the same, less than human so they must play a part.
Not allowed to walk the streets as a teen with a hoodie,
sippin' Arizona, eating skittles how could he.
He must be suspicious 'cuz he's selling CDs ,
the sentence always death, they don't deserve a plea,
they don't deserve a chance, why should they be free? they never will be strong they have no dignity. Typically, they put each other down,
dignifying my belief by behaving like clowns.
Eyes focused on the target as he lays face down,
fingers interlocked, blood stains the ground.
These are the thoughts circulating the wicked,disguised as protectors, badges make them addicted, to targeting melanin as if its afflicted, like the various examples I just depicted.
But that's only a small part of why society shifted,
we beat each other down instead of being uplifted.
Instead of rising as a unit spreading peace and love,
we perpetuate violence as if its a drug.
An eye for an eye or a body for a body,
hate is never an excuse to kill somebody.
We will not solve the problem targeting all police,
we will solve this equation by educating peace.
Give this message to our children: we are all transparent,
red blood and white bones, no matter how you wear it.
Some beliefs may differ, some may call me a liar,
the bible says this world will end by fire.
Children will murder parents and become them themselves,
rape will be as common as the daily mail.
Greed and misjudgment will turn nation against nation,
and lo and behold look at what we're now facing.
Racism is a problem but we have many more,
objectifying women as sluts and whores.
Exiling based on letters L,G,B,T, & Q,
hating every language spoken different than you.
Governments comprised of deceit and corruption,
the reflection of our mirror is sad and disgusting.
Judging one another by imaginary flaws,
committing crimes and enforcing them as laws.
Separating schools based on monetary amounts,
instead of teaching all we teach the ones that count.
America, America, the land of the broken,
surrounded by concrete, our walls are closing.
If we don't join hands and come together as a unit,
disintegration will continue until all is ruined.
If we cant break down our walls and change our mentality,
suffering will be our future, pain our new reality.
If we refuse to recognize that all lives are precious,
eventually there will be no one left to protect us.
If we remain divided civil war awaits,
every county and every city will no longer have a place.
If we ignore each others opinions we will seal our fate,
we will no longer be known as the united states.
The time for silence is over enough is enough attention America we need to stand up,
don't allow the present to decide what's what, inspire the change IT STARTS WITH US!
