Distance
Struck down by such beauty faced
Gentle hands to my body lay waste
There is no living outside this room
Anywhere beyond you is but a tomb
Though you're a death by passion's sin
Your arms will be my only coffin
Distance to conquer distance to cross
I fail to breathe and suffer your loss
You'll be my ground, you'll be my sky
Become my laughter and the tears I cry
Coming home to sweet embrace
Softest flesh concealed with lace
With a quiet whisper she falls into me
Like endless rain into a storming sea
Gentle hands to my body lay waste
There is no living outside this room
Anywhere beyond you is but a tomb
Though you're a death by passion's sin
Your arms will be my only coffin
Distance to conquer distance to cross
I fail to breathe and suffer your loss
You'll be my ground, you'll be my sky
Become my laughter and the tears I cry
Coming home to sweet embrace
Softest flesh concealed with lace
With a quiet whisper she falls into me
Like endless rain into a storming sea
