She Had a Name
She had a tragic grace,
as i looked deep into her wondrous eyes
She opened a path into her soul,
if only for a glimpse.
In her Heart i’ve seen beautiful things die,
She takes me in with anticipation,
hoping for a moonlit dance.
Even, if we ever are,
held so steady under the light now.
still etched with unbreakable patterns.
I twirl you around,
your toes leave this earth
And i can feel your gravity,
in the way you speak
So we will save our voices for now.
I’ll watch you fly just one last time,
My point can wait another day.
