Arachnid Princess

I try, pressed on like a loose sticker,
You fill your need at my cost,
stretching my seams so i’ll stay,
My beautiful face you’ve played for wrinkles,
Your stardust sprinkles,
i’ve all but lost my soul,
Noplace now is a home,
she’s tried and cried,
I’ll still hang around in the dusk of day,
the clouds are thick for now we’ll play.
I get lost in her eyes as she laughs away,
‘til the day i’m asked to stay.

My hearts been so lost for so long now,
i couldn’t bring the words to her door,
But yet i try,
to orchestrate for you,
a way to smile,
Maybe it can last for a while,
i’ll open my arms once more,
my sore heart craves to soar,
As your ears fall upon me,
the verse you disregard
is the sound you can’t ignore.
I’m here, until i disappear,
the web you've spun has shown me my fears.
I know what i need,
it’s never coming,
but ever so here, in these poems.
A lost feeling, i’ve embraced in a time less devoured,
an esteemed necessity of love
I crave hope.
