Mosquitos
Mosquitos
biting my arms
and ankles
and lips
steel puddles of reflections
chrome oceans of forgotten swims
When will I stop lying to myself
when will I know answers
remember the time
we were driving home from the pool
and the sky looked unreal
the sky was opening for us
and maybe only us
I think of that time
and other times
just time in general
and I want to share with you but will you listen
will anyone listen
I hear a vacuum cleaner running
imagine if you were reincarnated as a vaccum
that would suck man
haha
get it
that was unintentional
just like I'm always
unintentionally
"doing wrong"
whatever that means
and these fucking mosquitos
keep biting my arms
and ankles
and lips
kisses from insects
are much less affectionate
than I thought they might be
biting my arms
and ankles
and lips
steel puddles of reflections
chrome oceans of forgotten swims
When will I stop lying to myself
when will I know answers
remember the time
we were driving home from the pool
and the sky looked unreal
the sky was opening for us
and maybe only us
I think of that time
and other times
just time in general
and I want to share with you but will you listen
will anyone listen
I hear a vacuum cleaner running
imagine if you were reincarnated as a vaccum
that would suck man

just like I'm always
