Chocolate Venom

I crush each pill like my life depends on it,
I am a strung out junkie who isn't worth shit,
I can be intense at times call me a bitch,
What can I say? I do drugs that make my skin itch.

I try to get the spiders from beneath my skin,
But my nails break off and my hair is starting to thin,
I cannot stop the rats from crawling in my head,
I pick up the straw and wish I was dead.

I harbour the illusions that if I do one more line it will be fine,
But this crime is consuming my time,
I rhyme but I feel lost on the inside,
These words do not equate to my past mistakes dude.

I stick a needle in my vein,
I don't know of another way to take a way this pain,
I scream because these drugs are making me go insane,
But I can't stop,
My addiction is on top,
I am gonna drop,
My heart is gonna flop.

Take the words of an addict,
Never look back at it,
Focus of staying clean,
Because drugs can be mean,
They make you do crazy things,
Like cut yourself to feel free,
Snort another line to feel safe,
But you'll never be safe if you keep running in place.
