Concrete
Depression set in stronger than concrete.
Suffocating out the life.
Something stuck on repeat,
You're filled with strife
Tears fall like bombs.
They paint a canvas beautiful
But then the pain comes
You shy away fearfully.
Searching for an exit that isn't there.
Your lungs fill with water.
A sight you seem to cannot bear.
It causes you to dodder
Your very being,
Suppressed beyond recognition.
No one hears you screaming,
but your key is in the ignition.
Spreading to your final resting place.
Your weary eyes, start to fall.
You decide to pick up the pace.
and with a second, end it all.
