Doubt
Do you ever wonder,
fill your head full of questions
that you don't want there?
You sit watching the kids
and their binary languages,
you sit watching the career seekers
and the nine-til-five nucleated
diluted.
Sitting here watching it all,
you wonder, is this
anything different
in the grand scheme of things,
Maybe, just maybe,
this is as pointless
as that,
but then again,
maybe I'm wrong
and just need
some sleep.

Short and so much more than simply 'sweet'. A perfect distillation of those brief moments of utter hopelessness which occasionally strike the unfortunate. Marvellous.

im sure this is a piece many people can understand, at some point we have all been struck with the thoughts of is this it, is there no more, and what is the point, the purpose behind all of this...you captured that feeling perfectly.
