INCARNATION

INCARNATION

The hate I’ve learned
and the mother I’ve yearned
My children being born
and honors I’ve worn
The enemies I’ve fought
and the love I’ve sought
The people I’ve helped
and the promises I’ve kept
The pain I`ve felt
and heartaches I`ve dealt
The tears I`ve cried
and times I`ve lied
The perseverance I`ve shown
and the time I`ve spent alone
The belt across my back
and the fear I lack
The will to survive
and the passion inside…
Are the triumphs and frustration
of my incarnation
