I know your mind�s been
carried too far from home
/needing help letting go
of that lessened flesh
you�ve been carrying
around / it�s not your
fault, that you were left in
it

I get it/ I really do

trying to love again and
again/ knowing your
heart�s too tired to take
another blow

trying trust from beginning
to the end/ constantly
making your soul shackled
in a unsafe nest / but you
tried anyways

gotta praise the cosmos for
letting him run you into
my arms

he didn't know what to do
with an intricate love like
yours, �it�s not your fault he
couldn�t handle even a
single given portion of you

foolishly wasted you
