Kiss of Death

Another girl, Just livin' her life.
Another soul, Trying to survive.
A happy place, She's tryin' to find,
But nothin's good, When she shuts her eyes.
Another boy, That no one sees.
Except the bullies, Hiding down the street. Two bloody shins, And two broken knees, The kid's cries, Echo through the trees. Circumstance is a funny thing,
The like-minded suffer the worst deeds. But through love there's a hope beneath, All the pain and the tears you see.
After time, The two finally meet.
No more tears, "You're all that matters to me".
They pick eachother back up on their feet. School has a dance, But there's hesitancy. He promises, It'll be alright,
Gonna be just, You and me tonight.
She smiles and says "Okay but hold me tight,
I just might die if you leave my sight."
Circumstance is a funny thing,
The like-minded suffer the worst deeds. But through love there's a hope beneath, All the pain and the tears you see.
Their gazes lock In this moonlit dream.
The stars shooting, Set the perfect scene. But something falls, From too high above, A stupid prank, To end A perfect love.
As she passes, The reaper appears,
Her lips purse, As his draw near.
His kiss ends, All her worries and fears. The world fades, As her soul leaves here. Circumstance is a funny thing,
The like-minded suffer the worst deeds. But through love there's a hope beneath, All the pain and the tears you see.
The boy sees each and every face.
With nothing left, Death he does embrace. But that reaper, Showed some sympathy, He gave the boy a choice, So delicately: Give me your soul, I'll take those other three;
And torture them more than they ever did thee.
Just reach out, And sign this little deed,
In hell, You may all find your peace.
The boy sighed, But he knew at least,
He found a way to make the hurting cease. Circumstance is a funny thing,
The like-minded suffer the worst deeds. But through love there's a hope beneath, All the pain and the tears you see.
