- - - THE CROOKED MAN - - -
I believe in darkness
Like a spiral of madness
Awakening purity
In throes of tragedy
Come one and all little children
I'll sing you a nursery rhyme
Last of breath, lost in death
Faceless shadow when all is mine
"There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile
The crooked man stepped forth rang the crooked bell
And thus his crooked soul... spiralled into a crooked Hell"
Demanding time with the sinners
Emotions displayed on the wreck
Through the years in your fears
The Crooked Man breathes down your neck
From whence comes the whisper
Wisping throughout the vespers
Cradling the misery
In cribs of agony
"There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile
The crooked man stepped forth rang the crooked bell
And thus his crooked soul... spiralled into a crooked Hell"
Burrowing in your closet
Hiding beneath your bed
Reveling in your laments
Scream, my child
The monster of the dead
"There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile
The crooked man stepped forth rang the crooked bell
And thus his crooked soul... spiralled into a crooked Hell"
