I asked for it,they say.

Bare-chested with your T-shirt hanging on your shoulder.
Pants halfway through your buttocks
Your walk catches my eye
Metres away.
Yet I don't mind you, I carry on with my business.

I show a little skin here and there
I walk tall
Embracing my beauty
Beauty that The Almighty bestowed on me.How is dressing the way I dress
Suggesting that I want you to touch
That I want you to force yourself on me.
Why should we apologise for being
Beautifully made.
It is not our fault we are made this way
And men need to understand that.

I asked for it,they say.
Wrong!
You should allow me to be
You should learn to control your manhood
You should tame your wandering eye.
The holy book says if an organ is giving you a problem then cut it.
As much as I should change the way I dress perhaps we should cut your eye and manhood too.

The Lord made women out of a rib of a Man so that he becomes her protector
Who will I turn to when the perpetrator
Is the very same protector?
Allow us to flourish and afford us
The same opportunities as you.
Afford us our liberty as it is well within
Our rights.
