Nude, untitled

If only I were a foliole lost upon a nefarious chinook. My love weighs heavily and the wind cannot carry the burden of a feral heart. Lachrymose skies embrace my sadness like a wanton lover and the urgent drops of rain are my prurient tears. When the mistral whispers, I envy the kisses it lays upon your cheek while my tongue remains abandoned.

Much like you, wandering chevalier, the sky is too far to grasp and its beauty far beyond my reach, never to be held, never to be touched and only the moon shall be its lover, just as you shall only be mine. In all your darkness you expose yourself to the camouflage of night, bathing  in my wetness and wearing my heart, your medal of scandal, tucked beneath your bandoleer.

I kiss you twice and love you all at once. I taste your tumescents on my lips and paint myself in nothing at all, no colors, no fabric. Take me naked, as you desire; I was made your woman. A soldier was not meant for tears, so I weep for both of us and stain our skin with our own spices.
