Resistance

What a resistance
to my own being
to let go of fears
attached to it
Millions of them
filed in storage
annoy me with fiction
I don't ever need

Dark voices who swear
when we're praying
or feeling some kindness
or just want to give
They 're claiming they're only
defending our interests
and protect us with instincts
that are just meant to be

What a deception
we all co-created
like dead ends
around our hometown
What if I tell you
that hate 's never existed
and it's only a shadow
that triggers our own

Negative emotions,
states or feelings
the fears, the doubts
remorses or blames
are superficial reactions
imprisoned within all actions
and bring further misery
and dangerous lanes

How do you let go
of the way that you go
How do you resist
your resistance to it?
Forget what you already know
Ask, learn, realize
Accept and then love
and then you're released
