Silhouette of a broken man

The walls, the speak of a man.  
a blurred visage, it had a name.

I look, look on to the heavens.

The flames, now it's gone . I'm in the dark.
The pain, maybe it'd always been this way.
I had been blind. Blinded by you. Now I can see.
So, now I live in agony.  
The floor is where I dwell and writhe.

Are you God? Your words they heal me?

So now, at the tunnel's end.  
I see light, a faint glow.
I run, run towards my salvation.
Now i'm saved, saved from damnation.
This world was ever so corrupted
Alas, I bid goodbye. Never to look back.
 
But wait, not all was as it seemed.
it was you all along. it was your master plan.
The light. The exit from this hell...
was just you shinning a flashlight in my eyes.
I see only what you want me to.
But why do you toy with me like this?
Am I a puppet to you?  
Well, at least I have a master.  
At least you enjoy this twisted game.
I don't know what I would be without you.
Love and hatred it all just feels the same.

Now as I look at the moon.
too late you came, but you were gone too soon.
sleepless nights, suicidal tendencies.
never the will, never the strength  
so, tonight. Tonight, I will sleep in my death bed. That is where I will lay my soul to rest.
 
For I, I was doomed from the moment I opened my eyes.
Now I lay here, waiting for my demise.
For my own sake, I hope you'll keep your promise.
To all that I leave behind, I wish nothing upon my friends.
Just that you carry me to paradise with blood stained hands.
Because atonement I shall receive and the heavens is where I belong.
