Halloween
This Halloween,
i want to make you scream,
the explore all the corners
of your deepest darkest dreams.
So I will dress my porch with the skeletons
I pulled out of my closet,
besides the broken their broken jaws
that I keep in my pocket, like a locket.
Their secrets can't get out.
Making sure each skeletons keeps its promise,
To take my secrets to the grave.
Like a jack-o-lantern, with a mouth filled with fire.
We will speak of your burning desire,
to finally take off your mask this Halloween and
just
be
you.
And for the first time, you will feel fine.
because everyone expects to see a monster anyway.
