The Glass

Today I feel so confused
My conscience seems to fade away
When I think about those days
I hate when I lose... and the way you misconstrue

You like feeling when you're holding all the cards
The queen of hearts is always standing guard
You take more than you give
Sometimes it hard to forgive

My hand covers yours... if it wasn't for the glass
I could feel more than the past
You turn my world upside down
The snow begins to fall that once was on the ground
You'll put me back on a shelf
I see your reflection in myself

I wish I could be free
You say "don't give up me"
After all these years I still don't know what that means
But I live only... only in your dreams

This prison that you made
Sometimes it's just so concave
Your promises just never grow
So I'll just set upon the snow

My hand covers yours... if it wasn't for the glass
I could feel more than the past
You turn my world upside down
The snow begins to fall that once was on the ground
You'll put me back on a shelf
I see your reflection in myself
