UPON THRONES OF EVENFALL : ARCHITECTS
Architects awaken in the frozen fire
A choir from the pale tombs, hearken
Drowning with the names of dead kin
Quill blackened pages of regret
Timeless, dim and forgotten toil
Upon the breast of sanctified soil
And colossus lain on sleeping thrones
Ages pass in the stained glass womb
A memory of spatial cognizance
Alone in the void of dispersing tides
Guardian of the lost, with gaunt fingers
Points to the favoured direction
My chamber, my escape
O’ lover, with fairest skin
Take me by my disease
In sorrow, the flight is long
In the vastness of eternal sky
Dying in the wyrmwell
The casualties of forgotten wars
In galleries of the damned
Painted wings upon flightless creatures
To leave vacant, hallowed earth
Cascading the night o’ defiant
The skin is peeling by tradition
Thundering below the stars
Evenfall
Progenitor of my decay
And feasting on my sanity
Event horizon beckoning my ingress
I hear children weep songs of mothers
In the emptied heavens, spake tongues
Where abyssal things would cower
My chamber, my absolution
O’ breathless passion, eternal
Ghost audience gathers at our feet
Our screams echoed through time
Our names upon deceitful lips
Our flowers ripened by their belief
Ascending and descending
Undulating
Martyred by the causality
O’ rightful descendants
Carry with you our legacy
