The world is our stage
...and it gives what we give it,
the world is resistant,
the world is defiant,
the world is consistent ,
the world as nature intended
is a humbling experience,
and I am alive with its marquee upon my soul.

I'm a proper sucker for these short insightful pieces. I love the way that the title flows into the actual poem. In terms of movement, this is beautifully done.
"the world is resistant,
the world is defiant,
the world is consistent" - I mulled over this for a while, wondering if consistency and resistance can be used in the same paragraph. At initial thought, they struck me as polar opposites... but in retrospect, you can be consistently resistant... and added into the imagery of the world being a stage, and ourselves merely actors, well that's rather special.
A lot packed into a small space here. Beautiful work.
