What a Dream You Are
Brand new was I
To the enviorment
To the sound
And to you
You walked in
Frustrated and upset
Not caring,
In your own dark world for a life
But then
Just then
It felt like a head on collision
Metal to Metal
The earth had stoped moving and broke apart
Your eyes were on mine
Locked
The whole room lost air
You took my hand
And with your pale bone worn hands
You sent immense lightning through my very veins
And like that we melded together
Come what may
You wouldn't let me fall
And id do anything to see you smile
God, that smile
That damn toothy grin
That can bend my hearts armor like tin foil
You dont even know
youve shown me so softly
That I am not so bad
My own Joan Jett
So stunning
So paitent
You'll never know
It hit me like a sledgehammer...
Threw me through the windshield
Every saftey device...
Couldn't save me from the sheer
Impact you've had on my life
"I really do care about you... "
