Midnight Reading

In the blue-lit night glow of my heart
Its love unhidden finds my true life
Your words taking shape of throbbing want

A warm grip that our passion extends
Every rise and fall in every line
Yet half-wake is knowing a half-life

You abide, I seek but cannot find
With daylight my heart will hide alone
Praying for the blue-lit night of you
