Too Many
Too many times
have I run my fingers through your hair
or knocked our feet together.
Too many times have I glanced at you
while she is all you see.
She's the one you see until you
turn your head and now it's me.
You're so warm and burning.
You're always burning someone you always
burn
burn
burn through me and you're
gone
gone
gone while the ice creeps its way down my spine.
You trail red heat wherever you look.
Too many times have I been burned
through to my core and melted
too often have I felt myself grow colder until I'm
frozen
and nothing can thaw me like you did.
