WIDOWER

Somewhere there is a falling rain
I wish I was there right now
Soak under the night sky's vein
Confessing my final vow

And she was in silence
Entranced by a gentle breeze
Pouring her thoughts
Whispering a name she can't remember

Harmony of despair
Lost soul's elegy
Fixture on the banister
Love amongst amphetamines
Waved goodbye to painted faces
Panels leaving ghostly traces

Walked amongst the belligerent crowds
Of the deranged and whimsical
And overheard the evening's news

"A woman died inside"

I found her shameless body
And the blade from out her thigh
I sigh and whisper departure

"This is my last goodbye"

Walked home in complete disarray
Couldn't begin to describe the horrors
My eyes were subjected to this night
Wept with aeons of time
An angelic ecstasy
Poured the liquid over me

Fancy meeting you here
In a cloud of smoke

Rising ever blissfully
If I felt heat, I couldn't tell
Why have you come to me?
Shouldn't I alone be in hell?

Dead tonight
Face of delight
Alone but not alone

Here we are
Saved at last
Kiss me to sleep
