Forbidden Love

What am I to you?

A shoulder to cry on, a crutch to lean on. A net to catch you if you fall? Is that all I am to you. While you have stolen into my heart and into my head, while many other suitors simply tried to steal into my bed. Do you know that when I think about you, I want nothing more than to cut all ties with the world and be only yours and yours alone? Do you know that many of the things I write I see you in them, in some shape or form and I am always the one you love and you are always the one I love. In many stories, in many places. In someone else's life you are mine and I am yours, oh how I wish it could be like this. But yet I must watch you through the glass and see you live your life and I try to live mine. And so while I lay awake in my bed with someone who I wish was you, I wonder if I am on your mind. Because you are always stealing away on my thoughts, making my face flush red as if I was a little school girl again and you the boy in front of me that I have a crush on. And everytime I look at you and my heart skips a beat, I wish you knew what you have done to me. How your actions and your friendship has changed history and altered my feelings in ways unimaginable. I wish I knew how to tell you that you are the reason I write so much. Write about the life I could have had, if we were meant to be. Thank you kind sir, for you have made me a bundle of broken nerves. I want you, and I need you but you will never know. Know the sins that I would commit if it meant you would hold me in a way that I have wanted for so long.
