What's The Next Step?
They have their blue wall of silence
Then condemn us for being violent
Expecting us to follow orders and remain silent
They need to be handled like David did Goliath
We put up our hands pleading "don't shoot"
We say we "can't breath" but they continue to choke
We say "justice or else" but it's taken as a joke
Time for more actions rather than words being spoke
They don't respect us and already know what to expect
Folks will be up in arms for a sec then it's on to the next
Everyday is starting to feel like a tightening noose around my neck
I'm seeking justice but won't hold my damn breathe
We've tried marching and nonviolence so what's the next step
The reality isn't a fallacy cause our skin color is perceived as a threat
They flying in the chopper saying he looks like a bad man
Can someone explain that to me cause I don't understand?
How can he appear to be that when up in the air were his hands?
