I Am.
I am the sun on the summer day,
Perfect, warm and clear you may say,
But these clouds start to fill me,
And you see how one can actually feel and be.
The colors of happiness, blue, yellow and green, can all be seen,
But I hide my feelings deep in between,
Myself and the clouds.
I try to rise above to conquer all,
But the clouds pass over and the feelings fall.
I am like the man on the moon,
Bright and mysterious but only to be looked down on.
I see all and help all but still get no appreciation.
I only am noticed in times of contemplation.
Upset and sad one may say,
Yet I never get the time of day.
One to stay and never to leave,
Just one night I wish you will believe,
I am the brightest in the sky.
