Why, thank You very much! Those are cool things to say. I attempt to convey much in few words, and follow the convention of haiku as much as possible, although I realize that haiku is more than mere 5-7-5 syllabic counts; it is wrapped up in nature and seasons and key words that 'cut' and 'pivot' in the middle of the 17-syllable verse.
I find that having strict parameters in which to write [music or poetry] is highly inspiring!
I usually am much more free-handed and verbose, and will place those longer poems and lyrics up as opportunity allows.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. The haiku masters broke the rules once in a while syllable-count-wise, so I thought I'd take liberty with the last line, which is four syllables. I just sounded better with four when I read it out loud. I deeply appreciate the time you took to give me an honest comment, Friend!
