Woke in the moonlight
whispering clear
Secrets that no one
was ever to hear
Look around madly
anyone there?
Silence means safety
from waking worlds glare
Dreams conjure quickly
they need not make sense
Waking world never
can be so immense
I want to stay dreaming
which spell can you cast?
I want to stay dreaming
no future, no past
Say that you'll help me
I don't care how
Forever dreaming
the here and the now
Sprinkled with stardust
weaving through space
Try all you want to
you wont see my face
This scene is perfect
in dreams you can fly
Take on your worst fears
and know you can't die
Closest to magic
to me are my dreams
They're my salvation
from waking world screams

Sounds so naturally put together. You definitely have talent! I would have maybe liked different spacing just so it wouldn't feel as though I was rushing through it when reading it, but maybe that was your intent all along. Thanks for sharing! ^_^

I kind of wanted it to be fleeting, and fast. Kind of like a dream. My dreams at least. They're usually just out of grasp of full comprehension when I dream, like a puzzle piece that doesn't quite fit. Thank you so much.. You're always so graceful with your compliments, I sometimes feel I'm not quite deserving of them :)
