The Allure of The Game
The allure of the game keeps calling his name
The effects of poverty are causing him to change
Being able to eat week to week was his greatest aim
Not providing for his family was driving him insane
He got tired and said fuck the cops then hit the block
In search of a plug that would front him some rocks
On consignment until 72 hours passed with the tick of a clock
The equivalent of 3 days or some may say 3 crows of a cock
So he started moving those birds along with pounds of herb
Aspiring to become one of the greatest of which you've ever heard
Desiring to make a come up for him, his wife and two little girls
For him, nothing else has ever matter more in this entire world
After some time in the game he started developing major fame
Then decided to break the rule of not getting high on your own thing
Began with snorting cocaine then advanced to injecting heroine in his veins
Now his Queen is left alone with two kids to raise because he passed away
The effects of poverty are causing him to change
Being able to eat week to week was his greatest aim
Not providing for his family was driving him insane
He got tired and said fuck the cops then hit the block
In search of a plug that would front him some rocks
On consignment until 72 hours passed with the tick of a clock
