Leech
Yes,
I'd like to progress;
skillfully open your chest,
As I do best,
But halt when I hear you're depressed,
And just like the rest,
life's beaten you to lifeless.
Now I digress,
Back those breasts,
I run my blade through amazing canvas.
Then comes the paint,
Bleeding, you faint,
but I'm determined, this work I can't taint.
So I'll strap you down,
then I'll dig and dig
til I hear the right sounds,
Carving through skin,
layer by layer I'll see where you've been.
I need to know,
I need to see,
I need your pain to be even with me.
I need to believe that others can bleed,
Before I breed or heed words they've agreed.
I need to leave an Impression on thee,
Be it my rhymes or my philosphies.
I need to see
that others can see,
I need to know I'm not the only me.
Squirming you squawk,
Trying to talk,
Meanwhile I outline you in chalk,
Sweat on my brow,
Envisioning this,
I am engulfed in what your future is.
We're almost done,
wasn't this fun?
Just like promised, honest as a nun.
I've made a mess,
seen you at best.
Now that I've opened you I can digest
All of your pieces in small increments,
Savor taste,
Leave none to waste,
Make sure the flavor comes not from a baste,
Sometimes I make,
Far too much haste,
But I can't help it, I live for the chase,
Would die for the hunt.
And now I guess I'm being blunt,
Trauma to head,
I'll pick your mind until I've left you dead.
Just like a leech,
On you I'll feed,
I'd fight myself, but survival is greed.
I'd like to progress;
skillfully open your chest,
As I do best,
But halt when I hear you're depressed,
And just like the rest,
