- - - FIGHT THE FALL - - -
The daggers seem to fall like rain
Pushing me closer to the grave
Silhouettes of tombstones mark the road
The path ‘fore me is paved with broken souls
Cannot justify decisions made
I’m just shallow at the end of day
Do not follow me from the crime
I will kill you for the last time
Too many times I have walked alone
To pay for sins I cannot atone
Beating bloody fists against the wall
To fight destiny, to fight the fall
The eyes are windows of the soul
Then my heart is blacker than coal
I’m breathing in the sulfurous smell
Burning inside, my personal Hell
Must I lay inside this empty hole
The struggle, it seems, is taking toll
Refuse to fight demons inside
Together, we’re buried alive
Too many times I have walked alone
To pay for sins I cannot atone
Beating bloody fists against the wall
To fight destiny, to fight the fall
Standing at the edge to face the fall
Crushing against with broken claws
The gnashing teeth of the holy ghost
Screams to succumb, “We want you the most!”
FIGHT - FIGHT - FIGHT - FIGHT
FIGHT- FIGHT - FIGHT - FIGHT
AGAINST THE GUIDING LIGHT
The daggers seem to fall like rain
Pushing me closer to the grave
I’m breathing in the sulfurous smell
Burning inside, my personal Hell
Cannot justify decisions made
I’m just shallow at the end of day
Refuse to fight demons inside
Together, we’re buried alive
Too many times I have walked alone
To pay for sins I cannot atone
Beating bloody fists against the wall
To fight destiny, to fight the fall
