Confessions Of A Late Stage Capitalist

The tiger sits in the cave
Its dreadlocks caught in the cogs of time
Grasping for the iced tea
Just out of reach

The whale in the sky sobs tears of oil
They flow through the mechanical earth
Into a pool of self righteous apathy
From there, the loved and loving child will drink

The salamander glares with angry eyes
At the contemptuous beach ball
Lying in the grains of silence
At the edge of the cacophony

Beauty and Justice clasp hands
And kneel before the horse
Who in turn whispers to Time
But Time will easily forget
Time never remembers
