The Misanthrope
It's starting to be an everyday battle to not become a misanthrope
Learning the history of the world can choke out all of your hope
My motivation is obtained from all the elders who came before
Giving me the strength and edifying me about what I'm fighting for
I have to do all that I can to spark a change for the future of the youth
Me giving up and sitting on my ass silent is something that I will not do
Our kids will inherit the ramifications of our actions or inactions
So it's up to us to fight back in an attempt to stop injustices from happening
