Inner War

I have no thought for other wars
I'm in a battle with myself and I
Seems I have no time to live
Yet eternity before I die
Makes no sense, I know this
But this fight continues
As much as I want to give up
I've got too much to lose
So I raise my head up high
Preparing my mind for infantry
So many I love wish to help
But this battle is within me
I'm armed with the power of love
My ammo as the words I speak
My soul is the strongest
Although my flesh be weak
These inner demons focus on
Breaking me
But I've earned strength with
Battles won previously
My motivation is the dedication
I receive
