Stripped, ripped and torn, flesh exposed,

I stand naked.

Vulnerable, hurt and confused.

I stand injured.

Ashamed, belittled, worthless

I stand cold.

But the courage to continue is found in this state as I refuse to return

Instinct of survival and human nature
