The Shores of my mind

I feel the waves of insanity
Crash agaisnt the shore of my mind
The tides of my life
Empty tide pools
 wither and dried
The shore has no signs of life
My life
I search the shore
for shattered shells of my soul
mixed with beach glass
my hands are numb and cold
I pick thru the pieces
Till i find one of mine
It goes in my pocket
Till i collect the rest of the pieces
 of my life
I search this shore everynight
Looking for the jaded broken pieces
That once held together so tight
Now scattered over this shore
 in my mind
