The workers
were cleaning
the glass of the company
from outside
listening loud
to “shiny happy people”
the people
inside the company
were working
on excel
behind the dirty glass.

This is so difficult to answer...
Actually I am inside from the glass, but when I see this kind of scenes, I don't know what am I doing inside... Makes me think.
I am just trying to change the atmosphere inside but it will never happen.
A combination of both, would be ideal, but this would be an easy reply I suppose.
Well, that's the point of the poem actually, to make you think on a situation that the answer is ontological and can move you inside. ;)
