Scream My Name
I wanna hear you cry for me
cry a little louder
cry a little harder
watch you stand in the corner and cower
i pray you feel every bit of shame
and regret ever taking part in this game
relive all the nights you caused me pain
remember that when you scream my name
endless nights you made me cry
constantly stabbing me to see if im alive
gasping for air as i choked on your lies
now its my turn to watch you die
watch you realize your all alone
never again to cast a stone
yes, ill rejoice as you reach for the phone
screaming for help but noones home
you know you have yourself to blame
all those nights i stood in the rain
counting on you to keep me sane
remember that when you scream my name
feeding me lies and keeping me high
you never thought you'd be denied
a fresh breath of air, i opened my eyes
now no longer victimized
fragile eyes weigh heavy with blood laced tears
swollen and scarred, broken with fear
you viciously raped my soul
then turned your back and left me here
my pretty white dress, covered in stains
you never once took the blame
you tied me to the tracks infront of this train
remember that when you scream my name
now i seek the taste of revenge
a temporary fix for the pain within
a burning desire that never ends
a carnal tale of an Angel's sins.

Bluerose I can't even begin to express how much I related to your poem. I have felt such feelings and to see them in the written word was quite emotional. The line, "you viciously raped my soul," really hit a nerve. Still trying to get my soul back, if such a thing is possible.

Thank you, im glad you enjoyed it. You can get your soul back!!! You just have to go back to your roots and find yourself again, and never give up :)
