Amen

I saw something today.
It was invisible, yet I didn’t see through it.
I felt whatever it was so deeply,
but it was weightless and I couldn’t touch it.
In seventeen years I've never felt this,
now all I know is I'm one of his.
Lord forgive me for I was once blind to your presence
Thankfully you never submitted even when I didn’t acknowledge
You have given me more blessings than one can count
Family and friends that will never end; what a beautiful image
The love I feel from you is better than any Christmas present
Thank you lord
With you by my side and the gift of writing bestowed upon me
I can let my voice bleed out profusely with led and ink
I’ve said it once, but it’s something I can say for months,
Thank you lord
With you walking this journey with me
My chain will never miss a link
They say life is greener on the other side, now I’m a definite believer
Just like it said in “To save a life”
“So many times we ask God why he doesn’t change theworld;  maybe he’s asking us the same thing”
So God this is my oath to you,
I will help change the world to the best of my abilities so long as you always help me help myself.
