Childhood Should Be Like the Time Before The Fall of Man/Society Took Place
A morning sun shines down its young, fresh rays.
The scene is of growing green and golden grain.
For wheat fields ready for harvesting are bordered by plush forests.
Towering trees joyfully ejaculate in slow motion their sap upward
in the form of flowing foliage covering ebullient boughs.
Homes holding families of faith and their tail-wagging dogs,
"man's best friends" are having happy meals together,
As a pristine, peaceful brook flows with almost-holy water nearby.
A boy named Adam, a girl named Evie live near each other.
They're still innocent dwelling in an Eden called childhood.
Fortunately, he hasn't reached puberty yet.
No, there's no snake in this garden at present.
They wear clothes, but if they were naked,
They probably would pay it no mind.
There's a mood of unashamed, naked neighborliness in the air.
Yes, it's as if the Fall hasn't happened yet.
Maybe it doesn't have to happen after all,
At least not here, not now and not in the immediate future.
