You could ever ask yourself to do
Get those feelings out
Out of the blue
When you think of them
Do you feel the same before or is it different?
As someone else comes knocking at your door
This paranoia, this paranoia
If I see them on the street
I would act a certain way
To get his attention
And then when he sees me I'll look away
When you see their pictures online
Do you ever wonder if these feelings will go away
Off the line?
Does it bring them closer or further away from you?
This mystery person, this mystery person

But haven't seen each other for ages
It's almost like cat and mouse
Popping up at different times
And not knowing when that cycle will stop
You like him
You don't like him
Does he like you back?
If he's not there
It brings you fear
Aware of his present-absence
If he is there
Is he grateful you are there?

How you think, feel and act
Of a person you either like or dislike
Choose before someone else goes on strike
And babysit their problems on to you?
