A Man's Role
A man's role is to give and give, to submit and surrender.
As the sperm penetrates the ovum it dies in total surrender.
It's mission is not about itself, it is to serve his queen.
The role of a man is akin to that of the sperm (the epitome/microcosm of maleness).
By the male cell submitting to the female cell, a pattern is made
for humanity as a whole to someday follow, fulfill.
Oh what HEAVEN on Earth it will be, when womanly qualities
of motherliness, kindness, humility, forgiveness,purity reign supreme.
As the Bible says, "men will learn war no more"(Isaiah 2.4; Micah 4.3).
Soldierly service to women will serve as a suitable substitute
for waging war, and for victory in warfare.

this piece reads too direct to be figuratively respected as a poem. but your philosophy is quite intriguing.
Well thanx for your input. Its a nice surpr ise for you to comment on an old poem. But there's no reason to just focus on just recent ones. I have so many old ones available.
About my philosophy, a lot can be done with the sperm - egg theme. Like the sperm dies so the egg can live (as the zygote), soldiers (typically male) die so that society (largely female or the extension) can live.
Finally Christ enters the world like the sperm penetrating the egg.
He dies that the world can live in a transformed state,
like the egg is transformed into the zygote.
But the zygote doesn't stay a single cell, does it??
Likewise planet Earth as the cosmic zygote (transformed due to Christ),
doesn't stay a single planet either !!
For it splits into two planets: Earth and Mars -- when we colonize Mars into a clone of Earth (ok, a semi clone of Earth).
All the lifeless planets that we will colonize -- it will be as if Earth were splitting again and again.
In which case we are talking gestation here.
And where does gestation occur ??
Within the uterus of course.
Likewise this cosmic pregnancy
(of zygote Earth becoming an embryo of planets bound by a shared civilization)
occurs within the galaxy.
Which puts the Milky Way into the position of playing the uterus role.
But a uterus, by definition, belongs to a female, a mother.
While the galaxy belongs to the Creator,
putting God into the role of the Mother.
At last.
