Medusa
Medusa am I
But scaly skin not
Nor serpent headed
Piercing eyes though
Along a fate worse than stone
Glance upon my face
Upon you be brought
Sorrow, Pain, Anger
All to leave you distraught
Simply will be
Plainly as me
Leaving room for puzzles
like poetry
Follow like a pendulum
Slippery winding
Keep up with the timing
Stare eternally
Tied in a knot
Medusa am I
Medusa are you.
But scaly skin not
Nor serpent headed
Piercing eyes though
Along a fate worse than stone
Glance upon my face
Upon you be brought
Sorrow, Pain, Anger
All to leave you distraught
Simply will be
Plainly as me
Leaving room for puzzles
like poetry
Follow like a pendulum
Slippery winding
Keep up with the timing
Stare eternally
Tied in a knot
Medusa am I
Medusa are you.
